Formula One chief executive Bernie Ecclestone admits paying Gerhard Gribkowsky £27 million
Bernie Ecclestone has admitted for the first time to The Daily Telegraph that he paid $44 million (£27 million) to former bank executive Gerhard Gribkowsky following the sale of the sport five years ago, claiming it was because the German “threatened” to cause trouble for him with the Inland Revenue.
